ABOUT CHARITABLE GAMING?

To participate in “Games of Chance”, a New Hampshire charity must be eligible to be
licensed by the NH Lottery Commission, Investigation and Compliance Division.
Licensing requirements include that the Charity must be a domestic nonprofit registered as a tax-exempt
organization with the Internal Revenue Service, be in Good Standing with
the NH Charitable Trust (501 (c)(3) only), and be registered with the NH Secretary of State for at
least one year.

In selecting eligible charities for scheduling, The Nash Casino Charity Selection Committee will consider the charity’s mission, reach within the local Nashua community, and community values central to elevating and subsidizing the needs of our local charity services, including, but not limited to law enforcement, first responders, Veterans, food, housing, education, youth programs, and the arts.

MISSION STATEMENT The Mission of The Nash Casino Charity Selection Committee is to provide a transparent, fair, and equitable process in the selection and scheduling of New Hampshire charities for participation at The Nash Casino by verifying the authenticity and compliance of charities who participate, the reach of those charities’ influence, and their support of the local community and its needs.
